Privacy Policy
1. OBJECTIVE
Ensure the security of the processing of personally identifiable data in all company operations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations on privacy.
2. GENERAL
Your privacy is of great importance to Intuens segullómun ehf. This policy applies to personal data whether it is collected and stored electronically, on paper or in other comparable ways. The policy applies to the registration, storage and processing of personal data that fall under the policy.
3. PERSONAL PROTECTION LEGISLATION
The processing of personal data is subject to the laws on personal data protection and the processing of personal data as they are in force at any time, as well as the relevant acts of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. 4. LIABILITY
Intuens segullómun ehf. is responsible for the registration of personal data and the processing of that information in its operations. Intuens magnetic resonance imaging ehf., based at Brautarholt 26, 105 Reykjavík, is the legal controller of the personal information you provide to the company. 5. COLLECTION AND USE
We collect information about:
your name, telephone number and email address to be able to complete the appointment bookings and fulfill our legal obligations to record your medical record during an interview, phone call, treatment or other communication related to your health, your name, ID number, type, scope and date of the transaction to be able to fulfill our obligation under the Accounting Act, whether you have allergies or other health conditions with your consent to be able to protect your vital interests and those of others, your name, gender, telephone number and email address with your consent to be able to contact you for quality control,
You can view and use the Intuens MRI website, www.intuens.is, without providing any personal information. We do not collect information that your browser sends when you use our services, i.e. data that may include information such as your IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of the service you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time you spent on those pages and other statistical data.
6. TRANSFER
We never sell personal information about you. We never share personal information with third parties without your consent to the transfer (which you are free to refuse) except where we are required to do so by law or in the cases listed in Section IV or in the next paragraph.
We may share personal information with third parties (processors) who are our service providers, agents or contractors for the purpose of completing a task or providing you with a service or product that you have requested or agreed to. We may also share information with processors when it is necessary to protect vital interests, e.g. when collecting a default claim. We also share information, for statistical purposes, with processors who work with us in quality and control activities. We only provide the processors with the personal data that is necessary for them for the above-mentioned purposes and we conclude an agreement with them in which they undertake to keep your information secure and use it only for the above-mentioned purposes.
Please note that all content that you publish or share on our social media pages is public information. Please note that by linking your Page account and your social media account, you give us permission to share information with the social media service provider and the use of the information we share is governed by the social media service provider's privacy policy. If you do not want your personal data to be shared with other users or with the social media service provider, do not link your social media account to the Page account or share content on social media from the Page.
7. THIRD PARTIES
The Privacy Policy does not cover the information or processing of third parties, but we have no control over and are not responsible for their use, disclosure or other actions. We therefore encourage you to familiarize yourself with the privacy policies of third parties, including the web hosts of the sites that may link to ours, software companies such as Facebook, Apple, Google and Microsoft, as well as the payment service you choose to use.
8. PROTECTION
Intuens MRI is committed to protecting all personal information and therefore has an internal control system that is designed to ensure that appropriate technical and organizational security measures are always taken.
We will notify you without undue delay if there is a security breach involving your personal information that poses a high risk to you. A security breach in the above sense refers to a breach of security that leads to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorized access to personal data.
